Cypress is often valued for its strength and natural resistance to moisture, rot, and insects—a true workhorse in demanding environments. But beyond its durability, Cypress also offers a quiet beauty, with a warm honey tone and a grain pattern that reveals surprising character.

Inspired by a project that required Cypress for its resilience, we discovered just how striking this wood can be. That led us to craft a small collection of trays and bowls, including this unique piece.

This handcrafted tray highlights Cypress’s natural beauty while incorporating bold stripes of Red Padauk and African Mahogany (Sapele), creating a refined contrast of color and texture. Built-in handles flow seamlessly into the body of the tray, offering both elegance and secure, comfortable grip.
